The truth about plants
First of all I want to thank all of you for your comments. I tried to keep my blog simple and to the point and this seems to be what people like most. Plants are a lot like people, just simpler. That is why people like plants so much, they are great companions. They don’t complain when mistreated, and you don’t usually know anything is wrong until they start drooping or see some physical sign of unhappiness.
We just need to know what the plant is looking for from us. It’s just what mother nature can offer it outside; water, air, and a little nutrients. But what no one tells you is that plants need affection. They like to be talked to (softly) and to have their leaves touched (gently). They will survive without this type of treatment, just remember you are their companion and they rely on you for everything.
The plant is there to offer you beauty and companionship, and in turn needs your care and affection. They are also good at relieving stress. I will talk more about this later. Thank you!
Just a few more things to say about plants. When I say relieving stress or stress reliever, I mean they can calm us down. Plants have the ability to be great listeners, and while we clean or trim their leaves they will listen to whatever we have to say. No complaints! You can sing to them anytime you like and they will like it. You don’t even have to be a good singer or sing in key. They love it!
Just be their companion and give them the little care they that they need. Be consistent and work their care into a schedule if possible. Same day ever week for example or Tuesdays and Fridays etc.
